| About Directorate |

Based on Recommendations of 1st works standards committee meeting held on 16th June 2005 It has been decided by Railway Board to form a separate works directorate in RDSO.
Works directorate started functioning independently from September 2008. Works directorate is dealing with standardization of works items like flooring, finishing, type plans of quarters etc & conducts works standard committee meeting and follow up action on works standard committee items and other technical issues cropping up from time to time, through unit of Director Works. Director works deals with standardization of works matter.
Works directorate is also responsible for maintenance of RDSO offices, colony & other infrastructural assets including construction of new assets. |
