Traffic Directorate gives opinion / advice to all the technical directorates of RDSO being user directorate. It gathers user’s requirement through market surveys, future projections, customer feed back, literature survey and by other available means and apprises the same to other technical directorates of RDSO for providing the feasible user’s requirement through improvement in various railway designs. Traffic directorate conducts feasibilities studies pertaining to Operating and Commercial discipline for catering to the following:
· Increasing efficiency line capacity and throughput,
· Enhancing safety in train operations,
· Improving the image of the organization in the eyes of the users leading to
ultimate customer delight.
